Red Bull | Gaming Environments

Red Bull approached us and our partners at Fury Design Agency with the brief to devise a more modern and engaging environment in which public and private clients could enjoy the latest digital entertainment.  Red Bull’s Gaming Sphere, located in the heart of London’s Shoreditch, is the UK home of Red Bull Gaming and so the challenge for Arena was to future proof the site.  We proposed that any revisions to the site where versatile enough to allow for multi-purpose activities that would include anything from intimate OG team interviews to international tournaments and media productions for Red Bull TV, Twitch and YouTube.

 

Thanks to the cross-industry experience shared by Arena and Fury, our design integrated influences from other industries and leveraged partnership agreements with technology and lighting suppliers.  This ensured we secured preferential pricing at the same time as introducing Red Bull to longer-term commercial opportunities. Despite a tight completion schedule, limited access to the basement site and social distancing measures due to Covid-19, the project was delivered on time and exceeded Red Bull’s expectations.  As a result. we were awarded a longer-term contract for both temporary and permanent gaming experiences in both the UK and abroad.
