'With the growth in popularity of the esports industry and the continued success of our business to business magazine ‘PanStadia & Arena Management’, it made obvious sense for Hemming Group to expand our summit portfolio to include this ‘new’ digital entertainment sector with the decision to run our inaugural Esports Venue Summit, taking place in October 2020 at Twickenham Stadium.
We turned to Arena Consultancy to devise content sessions for the two day event, that prioritized providing fresh, relevant and cutting edge content which was distinctly different to existing events in the esports sector, combining a mix of case study presentations with thought leadership panel discussions. Additionally, with the knowledge and experience that Arena have within the esports space, they took responsibility for identifying and selecting moderators and panellists for all the sessions – an opportunity which they seemed to relish with impressive results, as key personnel from a variety of esports disciplines confirmed their attendance at first invitation.
It has been great working with Arena Consultancy. They have been a main contributor in producing the inaugural Esports Venue Summit and we hope this is the start of an ongoing relationship with plans for the Summit to be held bi-annually in other geographical territories.'

We worked with Arena Consultancy to find the right venue for hosting the qualifiers for the GG Bet ICE Challenge, the finals of which were a key feature at ICE 2020 hosted at ExCeL, London. The experience of event planning, venue knowledge combined with esports tournament organising knowledge made selecting Arena Consultancy as a partner an easy choice. They understood the various requirements needed for tournament hosting, featuring eight tier one teams for nearly two weeks and used their experience to ensure that the ICE qualifiers were delivered flawlessly. We are now working together at the early stages of planning future events for 2021.
